Bishop Dr. Michael Obamwonyi is a humble servant to the Lord Jesus Christ and the General Overseer/Founder of Michael Obamwonyi Global Outreach also called MOGO Ministries. He had his primary education in Benin City, Nigeria and his secondary education also in Benin City, Nigeria and he holds several degrees across several disciplines in the United States of America. At an early age, he had begun the work of an evangelist under the leadership of the late “ Archbishop Benson Idahosa “ of Church of God Mission Nigeria, by going from street to street , wine parlors to drinking houses proclaiming the full gospel of Jesus and the salvation granted by his blood, He moved to United States of America in the 80s where he continued his walk with God back in Ohio State campus thus paving way for the African Bible fellowship that would soon spread over all campuses in America, Dr. Michael also served in the US Navy in the 90s. By the Grace of God, he has been used in several capacities in several meeting places of God’s children. By calling, you see the work of an evangelist, by reaching out to the unchurched, undesirable locations and countries; you see the calling and work of an apostle as evidenced by the church plants in Texas, India and in Nigeria to the Glory of God. Dr. Michael is a father and mentor to many across America, Asia, Europe and Africa where he has raised men and women of God and captains of industries across various fields. MOGO has over 300 pastors across its organizational chain and over 300 children under the ministry foundational outreach programs with several orphanage homes in India and Africa. He is a father to two boys and two girls (Osamuyi, Etinosa, Asanti and Kayla). A heart filled with the love and compassion for the lost souls, poor in spirit, orphans, widows and underprivileged.
